Life has given me two marriages, three careers, six sons/stepsons, and taken me to four continents and fifty homes. So some experience under the belt.
I’ve always loved reading: sci-fi, fantasy, historical fiction, the classics, short stories, detective novels, contemporary fiction, even academic works. A few years ago I decided to do something with my passion for words and stories, and all the life stuff – in short, to write.
Since 2013 I’ve been writing flash and short stories, mostly science fiction and fantasy. I’m thrilled that some of my short stories have been published, in print/ebook anthologies and online. I’m currently working with an editor on my SF novel Entangled. My new project will be another novel, a historical story set in Roman Somerset. Working title Governor’s Man: The Bronze Owl.
When not writing, I read as much as I can, walk the Malvern Hills or ride our Triumph Tiger with my husband (followed of course by the mandatory visit to a teashop or pub afterwards).
I hope you like my blogs and stories!
